F-Lyon: erection and related works of roof frames and coverings
The buildings of the central workshops are old, built between 1 896 and 1 900. At these premises, the main activities dealt with are major revisions and repairs carried out on the buses.
The roofs of 2 old buildings are to be renovated.
— the ‘small mechanical’ workshop, with a surface area of 3 330 square metres, is covered by a shed roof in tiles and glass. There have been subsidence in the frame which necessitates a reinforcement of the structure and a reduction in cover.
— the paint workshop, with a surface area of 900 square metres, is covered by a shed roof with a multi-layer elastomer and glass seal. The roof has become obsolete, despite numerous repairs.
These roofs will be equipped with security routes to enable maintenance operations to be carried out safely. The installation of smoke extraction frames shall also be provided.
This work consists of:
— replace the tiles in the “small mechanical” workshop with a thermal insulated steel tray cover, replace or consolidate some elements of frame, remove old ventilation ducts,
— replace the multilayer waterproofing of the paint workshop,
— Install smoke outlets with manual or pneumatic opening and closing control,
— install safety routes to maintain equipment such as ventilation, extractions, gutters and cleaning of nozzles.
The 6-month deadline for the execution of the works. The construction site preparation period is one month. It shall not be included within the time limit for completion of the works.
