Concession Beach houses Zuiderstrand
The municipality of The Hague, as a coastal municipality, has a unique recreational offer, of which the 40 beach houses on the Zuiderstrand form an important part. The beach houses offer both residents and tourists the opportunity to enjoy a stay by the sea during the beach season. The seasonal exploitation of these cottages is seen as a service that is in line with the municipal policy focused on tourism, recreation and beach management. The current concession period for the operation and management of the beach houses expires at the end of 2025. The municipality of The Hague intends to award the concession contract for the seasonal operation of the beach houses by means of a European open procedure. The assignment is divided into four (4) plots of 10 beach houses. The municipality wishes to enter into a concession agreement with entrepreneur(s) for a term of 10 years. The publication of the tender documents is currently scheduled for 29 August 2025, see the tabllad "Planning" for the planned planning.
