Description

The city of Metzingen is planning to build a day care centre for children aged 1 to 6 with six groups for a maximum of 136 children and about 30 carers. The construction project is to be carried out by a so-called total contractor, who, on the basis of preliminary design planning already agreed with the users, takes over all further planning and execution services necessary for the construction of the building, together with directly adjacent development paths and terraces, as well as certain maintenance services for a period of four years from the date of acceptance of the construction services. The procurement procedure is expected to be concluded by early February 2027 with a contract award. The new building is to be completed within 15 months.
