Description

The municipality of Sipoo requests offers for the implementation of service tasks assisting property management and maintenance that support the functions of departments and units. The service to be procured includes, if necessary, the following tasks in the municipality’s properties: — Export of goods/furniture to landfill – Small repairs (e.g. screwing, nailing) – Installation of tables, assembling and installation of furniture – Assistance tasks of the Municipality’s Business Premises unit, e.g. depot management during busy times (e.g. lawn cutting, garbage tours, hand-snow work, flagging) – Assistance, carrying, transporting and emptying the goods (big moves and emptying contracts are ordered from other municipal co-operation agencies on the basis of separate contracts). All departments/units in the municipality of Sipoo can order the work and the work is invoiced directly to the client. The municipality’s Business Premises Unit is responsible for the contractual cooperation. Managing the services covered by the contract requires the service provider to familiarise themselves with the users of the buildings and their activities and to provide the services ordered, taking into account these specific characteristics of the site (e.g. children’s safety or compliance with health care guidelines). On-call visits and outdoor work must also be carried out responsibly: success in the service requires familiarity and direct monitoring/responsibility chains to achieve the required quality. For the above reasons, subcontractors may not be used in the actual service provided to the customer. In addition, the tenderer must take into account that the company will not receive a minimum number of hours worked under the contract when offering it. The services will be ordered from the winning company whenever necessary (not available in between). The contract period is one (1) year. The municipality of Sipoo has the right to extend the contract period for two years (1+ 1). The municipality of Sipoo makes a decision on the use of the option separately and announces the use of the option at least three (3) months before the end of the contract period.
