Norway-Ås: Meteorology instrument accessories
ITAS Eierdrift requests tenders where the objective is to enter into a framework agreement for the operation and service of the Agrometeorological Service's station network.
The Agrometeorological Service (LMT) is a project in the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO) and the main task is to obtain meteorological data for warning services and research from the principal agricultural and horticultural areas in Norway.
LMT owns 52 permanent stations and 16 mobile stations. These stations are located all over Norway, from Finnmark to Østfold. (See the overview of stations on http://lmt.NIBIO.no/). The 52 permanent stations are in operation throughout the whole year
The stations supply data on temperature, precipitation, humidity, leaf humidity, soil temperature and radiation. The selection of sensors and the location of stations vary between season based stations in fruit gardens and all year stations with more and more advanced sensors.
