Description

Dublin City Council in collaboration with the other Dublin Local Authorities and the Design Community is preparing a bid for Dublin to bid for World Capital Design status in 2014. The project is set out in 4 stages.
Stage 1 feasibility study;
Stage 2 develop bid theme and strategy;
Stage 3 formulate bid content;
Stage 4 produce bid document.
Stages 1 and 2 are complete and Dublin City Council is seeking to procure (on behalf of the bidding entity) consultant services to assist in delivering Stage 3 and to deliver stage 4 consisting of a multi-disciplinary team comprising of research, writing, graphic design (incl web design) and film production personnel managed and represented by a Lead Consultant. Creativity and a high standard of visual communication are essential and will require the engagement of a design research, writing, graphic and video production team. The successful team will have knowledge and understanding of contemporary irish and international design across all disciplines, a unique and authentic graphic approach and the creative capacity to develop the potential of the bid strategy into a credible bid.
