Description

As part of an aided project, the contracting authority is constructing the network-based broadband infrastructure in the Land of Brandenburg, in this case planning region 4: Lusatia-Spreewald. The aim is to achieve a comprehensive and future-proof broadband roll-out of up to 50 Mbps by 2020, as far as possible for all households and all commercial areas.
Network expansion (upgrading NGA backhaul infrastructure) is achieved through fibre-based connectivity, upgrading and technical upgrading of the street cabinets needed and to be expanded to cover the planning region into multifunctional housing (MFG) and the construction of the wired broadband internet infrastructure in defined OPAL areas and is expected to last until 31 August 2015.
In the extension area, passive multifunctional housing (MFG with low voltage connection) will be installed in the network centre of gravity of the respective supply area. The MFDs will be connected to the relevant operational point by main fibre cables. The MFG and the existing copper access network connect customers. The MFDs are connected in optical fibre ring and star structures. Civil engineering tracks are usually built on public land. Existing pipes are used. The optical fibre cables are pulled into pipes of different nominal sizes, quadruple multiple tubes and speed pipelines.
The contract divided into three lots (Lot 1 – West, Lot 2 – Centre, Lot 3 – East) concerns the documentation of the technical technical equipment in the above-mentioned planning region in MEGAPLAN (= menu-controlled interactive geographical system for documentation and planning). The implementation period is expected to be 1 March 2015 until 31 August 2015.
The contract published here concerns the documentation of the technical technical equipment in lot 2 (centre) alone.
