Description

Renewal of the insurance portfolio of the municipality of Evere, the CPAS of Evere and the non-profit organisation ā€˜La Fermette’. The contract is divided into lots as follows: Lot 1 ā€œMiscellaneous insurance (excluding hospital treatment and guaranteed income)ā€ Lot 2 ā€œGuaranteed income insuranceā€ Tenderers may submit a tender for one or both lots (Law of 17 June 2016, Art. 58). For a tender for the first lot to be valid, it must include all the insurances for that lot. Lots may be awarded to different tenderers. The adjudicators reserve the right not to award one or both lots. It was decided not to split the first lot so as not to increase the number of insurance contacts with the contracting authorities following the award of this contract. As each insurer has its own methodology for handling claims, its own interface, etc., the multiplication of insurers would lead to undesirable complexity for adjudicators. The guaranteed income insurance package has been separated from the rest because it became apparent in a previous contract that some insurance companies offer all the types of policy desired, excluding guaranteed income insurance. The possibility of discounts provided for in Article 50 of the above-mentioned Royal Decree of 18 April 2017 is excluded for this contract.
