Military research & technology. The contract is to conduct a broad range of research in the area of electronic surveillance (ES) specifically, communications electronic surveillance and cross-cutting technologies (e,g. collaborative precision geo-location). Communications electronic surveillance may also include non-core areas, e.g. other signals such as jammers. There will initially be two top level work areas: - 1st is Comms ES covering development of techniques and algorithms to prosecute a range of communication signals in modern environments. 2nd Cross cutting ES technologies covering collaborative high precision geo-location techniques and research on radar and communications ES integration.
