Description

The commissioners wish to undertake early engagement with potential providers and the market in general who share our passion and commitment and who are dedicated to providing the very best choice, service and patient care standards. Commissioners would like to understand the ability of providers to deliver this service. The proposed service will look to provide Tier 3 service provision to include multi-disciplinary 1 stop consultant led community dermatology service; this means that patients shall be seen by a consultant, dermatology registrar, GP with special Interest or specialist nurse, and where appropriate shall be assessed and treated in the same appointment.
The proposed service will look at providing sufficiently flexible appointments to ensure that the service users have access to the services available outside of standard Operational hours. The proposed service will provide education and support to patients and their carers post treatment.
