Description

Distruction of Confidential Data Services:
Wiltshire Council invites expressions of interest for a contract for the supply of Destruction of Confidential Data services over a period of 3 years with contract commencement from October 2013.
The contract will cover the shredding of confidential paper from Wiltshire Council premises which are located throughout the County. There are currently forty seven (47) Council sites in scope for this service.
The Council requires the provision of service for the shredding and disposal of confidential waste. There will be two options required:
Routine, frequent shredding of office-derived confidential material (may include provision of lockable containers to store confidential waste in the council's main office buildings).
Ad-hoc, bulk shredding of high volumes of confidential material at specific sites emanating from the Council's rationalisation of premises.
The Council estimates that there will be approximately 70 tonnes of confidential shredding for the duration of this contract. It is stressed that this estimate is not to be taken as a minimum.
The Authority intends to invite a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 6 suppliers to tender following the selection stage.
