Description

Sør-Odal municipality's municipal council decided 12.4.2016 to construct a new school for 1st — 10th years for all pupils in the municipality. The school shall have the capacity for 900 pupils and the school is expected to be in use by the start of the school year autumn 2019. In addition to areas for teaching, a new multi-purpose hall shall be constructed, outside areas shall be developed, including parking places and infrastructure. In addition, a temporary teaching building and previous before-and-after-school premises care shall be demolished.
The future school in Sør-Odal shall be constructed in accordance with the passive house standard (NS 3701) and BREEAM certified in accordance with BREEAM-NOR 2016 Very Good. District heating provided by an external supplier shall be used for heating. The building shall be constructed with wood elements and it shall have a wooden facade.
The contract comprises the following elements:
— New 1st -10th year school,
— A Multi-purpose hall,
— Accompanying outdoor areas,
— Demolition of an existing building.
