Om elektrische auto's te kunnen gebruiken is een laadinfrastructuur nodig. Deze (openbare) infrastructuur van stekkers en laadobjecten moet dekkend worden in Nederland en in dit geval met name in Brabant, zodat accu's overal bijgeladen kunnen worden en mensen sneller kiezen voor een elektrische auto. Met deze aanbesteding wordt een start gemaakt om dit doel te verwezenlijken met de levering en het beheer voor de maximaal 120 publieke laadobjecten in het kader van de Brabantse pilot publieke laadinfrastructuur .
