Description

The municipality of Bergen op Zoom wishes to contract a design agency that devises a creative solution for the realization of a museum partial presentation in a room of Museum het Markiezenhof, including educational package and (audio)visual presentation. The actual realisation of the (re)design of the museum sub-presentation is also part of the scope of this assignment to the design office. The municipality aims to conclude the final agreement around November 2024. Completion of this project must take place no later than 1 July 2026. For the financing of the realization of this museum experience in the museum, the municipality of Bergen op Zoom has received a subsidy within the Interreg project (Be)Leefbare Schelde. This gives the tourist function of Museum het Markiezenhof an important added value. The municipality has chosen to place this contract on the market by means of a public competition procedure (in accordance with Articles 2.42 and 2.43 of the Aw) because of the creative aspect of the contract. A public competition offers space for all entrepreneurs to propose a creative solution through a plan/design that is judged by a jury. The municipality may award a contract as a result of the design contest procedure by applying the negotiated procedure without prior notice. The prize of the competition means that a maximum of the three (3) highest scoring tenderers will be invited to participate in the negotiated procedure (in accordance with Article 2.34 Aw).
