Description

Street-lighting maintenance services. Street-lighting equipment. Installation of outdoor illumination equipment. Installation of illuminated road signs. Highway maintenance work. Installation of street furniture. Repair, maintenance and associated services related to roads and other equipment. Road lights. Installation of road lighting equipment. Installation of road signs. Road signs. Leicester City Council wishes to appoint one Lighting Contractor to deliver a high-quality public lighting service to the City of Leicester. At present, approximately 99.7 % of the City's 36,500 street lights are on each night. In addition, each year the authority provides special festive lighting arrangements for religious events eg Chanukah, Christmas, Diwali, Eid and Vaisakhi, and also provides lighting arrangements for other special events such as the Caribbean Carnival. In order to avoid any dispute regarding the CPV Codes that have been chosen, the Contractor will be expected to procure and install the specified equipment and to dispose of any arisings responsibly and in accordance with the legislation of the time.
