Ground Investigation (GI) works at Lower Tinnahinch Weir And Rock Fish Pass comprises the following: • Cable percussion to maximum depth of 10m BGL • Insitu SPT N testing in all boreholes. • Insitu permeability testing in selected boreholes where ground conditions allow. • Trial pits to 3m BGL or effective refusal. • Geophysical Surveying • Grab samples • In-situ and laboratory geotechnical testing. • Laboratory environmental testing. • Standard re-instatement of works for all locations. The investigations are distributed throughout the Tinnahinch Weir And Fish Pass. Refer to the tender documents for more details.
