Project description The Government Council Decision (RRB) No. 2016-000704 of 22 June 2016 obliges SBB AG, on the basis of Article 10 of the Federal Act on Fisheries (Bundesgesetz über die Fischerei, BGF), to rehabilitate the fishing ability of the engine house and the doping power plant of the Rupperswil-Auenstein power plant (KRA). The current project comprises two sub-projects: * TP B: Fish descent at the doping power plant by means of a shallowly inclined vertical fish control rake with bypass line into the existing bypass channel * TP C: Fish ladder at the engine house by means of a combination of Vertical Slot Pass and Raugerinne-Beckenpass with two entrances on the left bank The tendered lot 1 concerns the construction work for this project. Further lots (hydraulic steel construction, control, attract current pumps,...) will be advertised separately. Planned construction works for the fish descent doping power plant (TP B) * Fish protection: Fish protection at the doping power plant is ensured by a flat, vertical fish guide rake (bar spacing 20 mm). * rake cleaning machine: The rake is equipped with a new rake cleaning machine. * Branch structure: The fish enter the existing rinsing channel via three near-surface openings in the fish guide rake and from there into a new branching structure to be created (drain approx. 520 l/s). A vertical steel flap directs the water either into the bypass for the fish descent (normal operation) or into the existing rinsing channel (rinsing operation). The water level in the junction structure can be regulated via a horizontal steel flap in the bypass. * Dam beams: New dam beams are necessary at the upper water-side end of the inlet channel to the doping power plant to replace the current position of the dam beam closure. * Structural adjustments in the inlet channel of the doping power plant Planned construction work for the fish ladder Maschinenhaus (TP C) * Fish ladder: The fish climb is made using a combination of Vertical Slot Pass and Raugerinne Basin Pass with two entrances on the left bank. * The conductive flow is generated by means of attract current pumps * The steep embankment requires extensive civil engineering work with dissolved bore pile walls, earth-reinforced systems and water retention * For the entrances and exits in the lower and upper water, the existing embankment wall must be broken through * Excavation of the existing tuff trench Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
