Description

Das Saarland beteiligt sich am EU-Schulprogramm, Komponente Obst und Gemüse, auf Grundlage der Verordnung (EU) 1308/2013 des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 17. Dezember 2013 sowie der Verordnung (EU) Nr. 1306/2013 hinsichtlich der Beihilferegelung für die Abgabe von Obst und Gemüse, Bananen und Milch in Bildungseinrichtungen, der Durchführungsverordnung (EU) 2017/39 der Kommission vom 3. November 2016 mit Durchführungsbestimmungen zur VO (EU) Nr. 1308/2013, der delegierten Verordnung (EU) 2017/40 der Kommission vom 3. November 2016 zur Ergänzung der VO (EU) Nr. 1308/2013 sowie des Gesetzes zur Durchführung unionsrechtlicher Vorschriften über das Schulprogramm für Obst, Gemüse und Milch (Landwirtschaftserzeugnisse-Schulprogrammgesetz - LwErzgSchulproG) in den jeweils geltenden Fassungen. Ziel des EU-Schulprogramms ist es, den Verzehr von Obst und Gemüse bei Kindern, insbesondere bei Kindern im Grundschulalter, durch ein vielseitiges und regelmäßiges Angebot an Obst und Gemüse zusätzlich zur bereits bestehenden Mittagsverpflegung zu steigern, und so deren Ernährungsgewohnheiten langfristig im Hinblick auf eine gesundheitsfördernde und ausgewogene Kost zu beeinflussen. Gleichzeitig dient das Programm der Absatzförderung von Obst und Gemüse.
