The Environmental Center of Montalbán manages and treats household waste in the province of Córdoba, being an essential service for the proper management of urban waste. Existing optical equipment, installed in 2013, has shown a progressive loss of efficiency, which translates into a decrease in the recovery of materials, particularly plastics. This situation has generated a significant gap between actual production and theoretical potential for recovery.
