Description

The Municipality of Nieuwerkerken (Contracting Government) wishes to proceed with the renovation and expansion of the community centre in Kozen. The building was renovated in the 1980s and a subsequent renovation is required. The Contracting Authority wishes to pay attention to making the building more sustainable with attention to the character that the building has within the villagescape. The functions within the building have recently undergone a change. For example, the library disappeared and the Contracting Authority wishes to provide the building with a section specifically intended for childcare. A commemoration of the program and intended (shared) spaces is paramount in the renovation. In order to realize this project, the Contracting Authority wishes to designate a design team. All required performance in terms of architecture, stability, techniques, EPB and security coordination are included in the Assignment. The designer will act as a leading official in connection with (the public contract for) the execution of the works in question. He will be responsible for drawing up the tender specifications for the public works contract to be carried out and will assist and guide the Contracting Authority in the broadest sense in conducting the procurement procedure for this public contract.
