Το έργο αφορά στην προμήθεια, εγκατάσταση και θέση σε λειτουργία 21 αυτόνομων Φωτοβολταϊκών Σταθμών, συνολικής ισχύος 2.637,00 kWp, οι οποίοι χωροθετούνται πλησίον των κτιριακών εγκαταστάσεων 17 Ιερών Μονών και 4 εξαρτημάτων 3 εξ αυτών, ώστε να καλύπτεται σημαντικό μέρος της ετήσιας κατανάλωσης ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας με την αξιοποίηση της ηλιακής ενέργειας αλλά και της διατιθέμενης ήδη υποδομής. Όλος ο εξοπλισμός (μηχανολογικός-ηλεκτρολογικός κ.λπ.) που θα εγκατασταθεί θα είναι καινούργιος.
