Description

The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and Arts (MWK) intends to award a service contract for the project promoter of the Baden-Württemberg Bioeconomy research programme. The project promoter provides technical and administrative support to the MWK at all stages of project support.
In spring 2012, the MWK launched a bio-economy strategy group to position the Baden-Württemberg research landscape in the future of the bioeconomy. The aim was to develop a bio-economy research strategy for Baden-Württemberg. The existing potential should be better interconnected (interdisciplinary and cross-site) and national and international visibility will be improved.
This was intended, firstly, to improve the position of Baden-Württemberg institutions in attracting third-party funding from other funding providers, such as the Federal Government or the EU, in order to further increase competence (and quantity) and, on the other hand, to draw the attention of the Baden-Württemberg economy to the possibilities of new bio-based products and processes in order to speed up the transfer of research results to the economy.
The Baden-Württemberg Bioeconomy Research Programme aims to support the implementation of the Baden-Württemberg Bioeconomy Research Strategy developed by the Bioeconomy Strategy Group by financing research projects and structural measures over a five-year period (4/2014 – 3/2019).
The MWK intends to award the services described in these procurement documents to the following extent on behalf of the Land of Baden-Württemberg in an open procedure. Offers are requested for the implementation of the project promoter for the Baden-Württemberg Bioeconomy research programme.
