Description

Statsbygg is the Awarding Authority for New Odontology building UIB, henceforth referred to as NOB. The area of the building is approx. 15 000 m² and contains Faculty of Dentistry for the University of Bergen and clinic for the public Dental Health Service.
The contract “Laboratory furnishing” includes one of several builder-administered sub-contracts. The contract involves laboratory furnishing in the 3rd floor (approx. 13 rooms). The contract has complicated interface towards installation of the electro contract K401 which includes laying of cables and delivery of lights and outlets as well as installation of these.
Above benches and below wall cupboards contract K401 will include electrical cables for receipt of power. Contract K208 shall include installation of electrical equipment. Remaining interface is described in the tender documents.
The Awarding Authority will choose builder-administered sub-contracts where the builder shall coordinate the sub contracts which are in process simultaneously with contract K208.
Contract K205 Structural internal works shall provide joint rig for other sub-contracts. This assignment will be transferred subsequent to completion of contract K203, in accordance with further agreement. Opening of tenders is at the end of October 2010. The Awarding Authority aims at entering into agreement within end of November 2010 and start of works Q2-2011.
