In 2017 the Directorate for eHealth signed a contract with CareCome AS for the delivery, development and maintenance of a national system for the administration, management, storage and accessibility of
An encoder and terminology. The contracts are built on the government's standard SSA-T (adaptation contract) and SSA-V (maintenance contract). The adaptation contract has an original value of NOK 5.9 million, and the maintenance contract has a contract value of approx. NOK 9 million over 10 years. This was somewhat below the announced contract value, which was NOK 17.5 million.
The tender contest will be held in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of 17 June 2016, no. 73 and the Public Procurement Regulations from 12 August 2016, no. 974. The system that is delivered by CareCom AS is, as a starting point, a proprietor system. There has been a need in the implementation phase of the project to order additional functionality that was not a part of it.
