The subject of the contract is a radiological survey of the towns of Kangasala, Nokia and Ylöjärvi and the municipalities of Lemminlä and Pirkkala, as further specified in the invitation to tender. The number of inhabitants of the cities and municipalities involved in the procurement (subsequently referred to as ‘subscribers’) (1 August 2019) is approximately:
141 000. Some subscribers, as host municipalities, sell services to municipalities in the collaborative area, so the total population of the area under the responsibility of the subscribers is around 152000. Subscribers do not commit to any amount of services to be procured.
