Pirkimo objektas yra Lietuvos Respublikos vaistinių preparatų registre, Bendrijos vaistinių preparatų registre įregistruoti arba Lygiagrečiai importuojamų vaistų sąraše įrašyti vaistiniai preparatai (toliau – prekė) dėl kurių tiekimo bus sudaromos preliminariosios sutartys dėl užsakymų per CPO LT elektroninį katalogą pagal pirkimo dokumentų B dalyje nustatytą techninę specifikaciją ir pirkimo dokumentų C dalyje pateiktas preliminariosios sutarties projekto nuostatas. Kituose registruose įregistruotas ar neįregistruotas vaistinis preparatas nėra laikomas pirkimo objektu.
