The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V.) is planning the construction of a steam compression system in container design for the operation of two turbo radial compressors in series with the working medium water vapor. This is part of a novel high-temperature heat pump (HTWP) consisting of a heat recovery system, a hydrocarbon heat pump and the two-stage steam compression system, which is used in an EU-funded project in a paper mill.
