Description

The GRT is part of the system of basic registrations (see https://www.digitaleoverheid.nl/dossiers/basisregistraties/). Basic registrations are characterised by the fact that they have a legal basis and that basic registrations must comply with a certain quality. In order to ensure this quality, quality control should be carried out on a regular basis. The Land Registry Act (2016) provides that, for the BRT, quality control must be carried out once every three years by an external expert. For years when no external audit is taking place, an internal audit should take place.
On the basis of an audit of a representative sample, the contractor should decide on the quality of the complete dataset. The verification should be carried out in accordance with the control methodology described in this document.
