Description

The city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler intends to restore the spa park destroyed in the flood disaster of July 2021 and has commissioned its subsidiary, Marketing GmbH, to manage the restoration. The spa park of Bad Neuenahr houses the healing spring "Großer Sprudel", whose well technology and facilities were destroyed in the flood disaster in July 2021. Originally, the fountain technology was housed in a separate building on the grounds of the thermal bath house opposite the spa park. This building was destroyed by the flood and there is now a need to rebuild the well technology. Due to the functional affiliation of water extraction to the spring in the spa park, there is a need to rebuild the well technology in the immediate vicinity of the spring. The new well technology is arranged in the basement of the existing building of the Kurparkterrasse. For this purpose, a ceiling opening of approx. 24 m ² between the basement and the ground floor is produced on site.
