This project is specifically focused on the contract for the construction of the new west arc (contract 2). The main contract features are; - This is an E&C contract; RWS provides a DO+ which our contractor must develop into a UO; - A yard will be made available for assembly at the location Devil's Island; - This contract has interfaces with the other contracts for the Van Brienenoord Bridge and with the contract for the realization of the Circular Recruitment Devil's Island (CWD), in which RWS plays the integrator role; - Not in the scope of this contract; the transport of the new arch to the Van Brienenoordbrug location; - By cutting the initial project into 4 contracts, this is a monodisciplinary contract with a limited risk profile.
