In June 2021, a broad majority in the Danish Parliament reached an agreement on infrastructure projects, called Infrastructure Plan 2035. It appears from this that construction of the 21 km long 4-lane motorway from Tværvej to Frederikssund is to be started in 2026. In order to form a sufficient basis for the Folketing’s final position on the construction project, including the scope of mitigation measures, an environmental impact assessment of the construction project must be carried out on the basis of the outline project from the environmental impact assessment of January 2021, as well as a recalculation of the construction and socio-economic, traffic, noise and climate effects of the construction project.
