Description

In the course of the renovation of the Aulendorf station, the station will be expanded barrier-free. This includes the renewal and raising of the platforms on tracks 1/1a and 2/3 as well as the new construction of the platform on track 5/7 as a replacement for the previous platform on track 4, which will be dismantled including a level crossing. As part of a redesign, the passenger underpass in Aulendorf will be equipped with three new lifts that connect the platform levels. On platform 1, the access remains unchanged, on the other platforms, new stairways are built. Platforms 1/1a, 2 and 3 are increased to 55 cm above sea level, with the possibility of later adjustment to 76 cm. In addition, a new drainage concept will be implemented and the platforms will be equipped in accordance with station category 4. Platforms and crossings that are no longer needed will be dismantled. Aulendorf station (Bf No 226) is located about 40 km north of Lake Constance in the district of Ravensburg on the route 4500 Ulm – Friedrichshafen at railway km 156,3+90. The 4500 route is electrified. The station currently has two main tracks (track 1 and track 2). The line 4550 Herbertingen - Isny crosses the station Aulendorf at train-km 27.8+00. In Aulendorf, a Category 4 station, the infrastructure measure ‘Modernisation of the Aulendorf station’ is to be carried out. In this context, the barrier-free expansion of the station and the renewal and elevation of the platforms on tracks 1/1a and 2/3 are to be realized. In addition, a new central platform on track 5/7 is to be built as a replacement for the platform on track 4. The platform height was determined in coordination with the headquarters and the state of BW as an intermediate stage with SO 55 cm for all platforms.
