Description

The object of the procurement is tools and supplies for technical work, for the use of primary and secondary school learners (children and young people), for the City of Helsinki's education and training sector. The duration of the contract is two (2) years. The acquisition also includes the possibility of a maximum two-year option period (12 months + 12 months). Option periods can be exercised by separate decisions (12 months + 12 months) or by the same decision (24 months). The terms and conditions of this agreement shall be applied during the option period as they are in force at the end of the actual agreement period. The Contracting Entity shall make a decision on the exercise of the option period no later than three (3) months before the end of the actual contract period. The procurement is divided into twenty-four (24) sub-areas. Purchases are mainly made from the preferred supplier. Purchases will be made from the deputy supplier if the primary supplier is unable to deliver in accordance with the terms of the contract (see Appendix 2).
