Description

On the basis of Partnership Agreement No 1/23.012.2024 between Bacău Municipality and Bacău County, the application for funding was submitted and approved for the implementation of the project ‘Rehabilitation and modernisation of Cancicov Park and the fitting-out of the exhibition space Museum of Natural Sciences’, SMIS code 329291, under the North-East Regional Programme 2021–2027. On 23.05.2025, the Municipality of Bacău, as Partnership Leader, signed Financing Contract No 708/23.05.2025 for the implementation of the above-mentioned project. The aim of the project is to increase the quality of life in the municipality of Bacau by rehabilitating and modernizing the Cancicov Park and arranging an exhibition space dedicated to the Museum of Natural Sciences, contributing to the integrated and inclusive development of the social, economic and environmental dimensions, as well as to the promotion of culture, sustainable tourism and urban security. In order to implement the activities of the above-mentioned project, it is necessary to start the procurement having as object: Equipping the Museum of Natural Sciences Bacău with exhibition products, as part of the project ‘Rehabilitation and Modernisation of Cancicov Park and Design of the Museum of Natural Sciences exhibition space’ – SMIS code 329291, taking into account the provisions of Law No 98/2016 on public procurement and project documentation. The contracting authority chose to divide the procurement into 2 lots, given the types of products purchased under the project and their usefulness.
