Description

Bei dem Haus Melanchthon handelt es sich um ein historisches Schulgebäude. Es befindet sich auf einem weitläufigen, parkartigen Schulhof mit Turnhalle und originaler Einfriedung und ist Baudenkmal nach § 2 Abs. 2 Ziffer 1 DenkmSchG LSA und das Grundstück mit Bebauung Teil des Denkmalbereiches Altstadt nach § 2 Abs.2 Ziffer 2 DenkmSchG LSA.
Zur Sicherung des gymnasialen Standortes ist die Komplettsanierung des Schulkomplexes inkl. Turnhalle, insbesondere für die Beschulung der Sekundarstufe 2, Klassenstufen 10-12 erforderlich. Insgesamt sollen 17 Unterrichtsräume für ca. 280 Schüler und Lehrer im Haus Platz finden.
