Description

Norra sjukvårdsregionen består av Regionerna Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland samt Jämtland-Härjedalen med ett sammanlagt invånarantal på drygt 900 000. Numer finns evidens för att det bör erbjudas botande behandling till patienter med ischemisk stroke och ocklusion i hjärnans större kärl även i sent tidsfönster samt vid oklar insjuknandetid, en förutsättning för detta är att räddningsbar hjärnvävnad kan påvisas via neuroradiologisk undersökning. För att selektera dessa patienter finns det ett behov i Norra sjukvårdsregionen av en gemensam automatiserad lösning för analys av akuta ischemiska förändringar, DT-angiografi och DT-perfusionsundersökningar från sjukhusen i regionen. Trombektomier utförs i nuläget endast vid NUS men åtgärden kan komma att expandera till andra sjukhus i framtiden.
