Description

Die 20 km lange, nicht ausgebaute Oststrecke des Nord-Ostsee-Kanals stellt für die Schifffahrt eine Engstelle dar. Der gegenwärtige Ausbauzustand entspricht noch den Abmessungen von 1914. Diese Abmessungen schränken sowohl die maximal zulässigen Abmessungen der Schiffseinheiten als auch die Begegnungsmöglichkeiten ein und verzögern die Passage der aktuellen Schiffsflotte. Aus diesem Grund ist die Oststrecke zwischen der Weiche Großkönigsförde und der Weiche Schwartenbeck auszubauen.
Das für den Ausbau notwendige Planfeststellungsverfahren wurde bereits erfolgreich abgeschlossen.
Für die Lose 4 „Kurve Groß Nordsee“ und Los 5 „Gerade Königsförde“ der Oststrecke des NOK soll nun ein gemeinsamer Entwurf-Ausführungsunterlagen (Entwurf-AU) und Ausschreibungsunterlagen erstellt werden.
