The purpose of the contract is to update the MZP and MRP in the scope resulting from the review of the MZP and MRP and to develop new MZP and MRP for areas at risk of flooding designated as a result of the review and update of the preliminary flood risk assessment in the 3rd planning cycle. The contract shall cover the following activities: updating the methodology for the development of MZP and MRP; preparation of a timetable for the development of MZP and MRP; acquisition and preparation of relevant input data, including geodetic measurements, hydrological and meteorological data development; hydraulic modelling; drawing up flood hazard maps, followed by flood risk maps in the form of spatial databases and cartographic versions; agreeing the maps with the relevant provincial governors and submitting them for approval by the minister responsible for water management; taking into account seaward maps, including internal marine waters, provided by the directors of maritime offices; preparation of a report on the analysis of changes in flood hazard and risk; preparation of the final report on the review and update of the MZP and MRP in the 3rd planning cycle; preparing the publication of maps and data sets for competent authorities; preparing a report to the European Commission; Complementing the review of the IMP. The subject of the planned contract is the provision of substantive support services in the implementation of the Project: ‘Review and update of flood hazard maps and flood risk maps in the 3rd planning cycle’. In accordance with Art. Flood Hazard Maps and Flood Risk Maps are reviewed every 6 years and updated as necessary. It is the obligation of the Polish Waters under Article 171 of the Water Law to review and update the MZP and the MRP.
