BA 19848 – Testing of mobile equipment in accordance with DGUV V3/4
Approximately 25.000 portable electrical equipment must be tested. The quantities actually found may differ, but are invoiced according to the apparatus actually tested. In the event of foreseeable increases in quantities, the contracting authority must be informed in writing in advance and released. No right to a price revision may be asserted ex post. In order to ensure that test periods are not exceeded, the testing of mobile electrical equipment must start after the order has been placed. This serves to ensure proper condition within the meaning of the applicable provisions of the VDE, the Employee Insurance Association and the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (Industrial Safety Ordinance). In order to be able to test the high number of equipment within a manageable timeframe, the use of at least one test rig consisting of two qualified persons is necessary. Proof of competence (in accordance with TRBS 1203) of the respective examiner shall be provided in writing in advance.
