Description

At the Eschborn site, GIZ is currently still using six buildings for the currently approximately 3,200 employees. The buildings house 1 to house 6 and the new building are all within walking distance of each other and can be reached within 5 minutes from house 1 with normal gait. The largest buildings have a maximum of 10 floors. At least 1 lift is available in all houses. On 01.09.2025f. the new building is expected to be handed over and finally occupied by employees from house 1, 2 and 3. The new building has a usable area of about 28,100 sqm with about 960 physical workstations, large conference areas and a canteen area on 5 office floors, plus ground floor. These are partly equipped with new furniture, for the most part existing furniture from house 1 and 3 and from the basement warehouses are to be brought in. As of 31.12.2025, the building house 3 with a usable area (NF) of approximately 25,900 m2 is expected to be rented, the approximately 690 physical workplaces located there on currently 5 office floors are to be distributed among the remaining buildings at the Eschborn site as part of the measure described here.
