Oslo municipality has decided to introduce multi-factor authentication for employees, which must be done in order to strengthen the IT security of Oslo municipality. The authentication technology currently used in Oslo kommune is Microsoft Entra ID. The multi-factor methods that are compatible and in accordance with the security requirements included in this technology are Microsoft Authenticator, SMS and FIDO2. The aim of this procurement is to procure authentication units that support Oslo municipality ́s technology choices. See the tender documentation for further details.
