The city of Goch is currently developing the city center under the motto "Living Goch on the Blue-Green Belt". The inner city development focuses on the core of the inner city as well as on the so-called blue-green band of the Niers. The overall measure is funded under the North Rhine-Westphalia Urban Development Guidelines. Part of the overall measure is the design of the following squares - Marktplatz - Klosterplatz and - Platz am Steintor Furthermore, an existing traffic kindergarten at the city park is to be redesigned and provided with additional functions.
