Description

The Global Project is part of the BMZ Special Initiative “Towards Zero Hunger”; their aim is to overcome hunger and malnutrition among the people living today. The GA contributes to this by improving income from smallholder farms, employment and regional food supply through tried-and-tested agro-food innovations in selected rural areas. Building an autonomous, competitive and regionally interconnected agri-food sector offers enormous opportunities for rural development. Modernisation and professionalisation of agriculture is essential. The module target Nigeria is: Agro-food innovation has improved smallholder income, employment and regional food supply in selected Nigerian states.
