Description

In the DLR Institute for Transport Systems Technology, the projection systems are to be replaced by a more performant system in two existing laboratory environments:
A high resolution, stereoscopic (3D)/dual View 360o projection is to be implemented in the VR laboratory for the visualisation of the virtual world.
In the dynamic driving simulator, the existing projectors will be replaced by Eyevis ESP-LUXT-2120 projectors to allow a high-resolution representation of the virtual world. The projectors will be attached by the Contracting Authority.
For both laboratories, the aim is to achieve a high degree of immersion, which is maintained for many hours of operation, or can be restored within a few hours. The existing image generators will be used to project.
