Description

Die Stadt Beckum beabsichtigt den Neubau der Sonnenschule in Beckum. Auf dem Grundstück der bestehenden Sonnenschule soll ein Neubau für eine 3-zügige Grundschule als offene Ganztagsschule entstehen. Der Neubau wird im laufenden Betrieb erstellt. Das bestehende Schulgebäude wird erst nach Fertigstellung des Neubaus abgerissen. Die Architektur soll in seiner Konzeption den pädagogischen Ansatz der Schule unterstützen und umsetzen. Geplant wurde ein Gebäude, bei dem der pädagogische Ansatz einer individuellen Förderung der Schülerinnen und Schüler sich in der räumlichen und organisatorischen Struktur des Gebäudes spiegelt. Neben der Kernfunktion als Schule stehen die Räumlichkeiten der Aula- und Mensa auch anderen öffentlichen Nutzungen außerhalb des Schulbetriebes zur Verfügung.
