Exotic control and control
Short description of the Client Water is of vital importance. We need it as drinking water, for arable farming, in livestock farming and in industry. In the Netherlands, water is usually enough, but it is often unevenly distributed and polluted. This is why water management is needed. Where there is too much water, the water boards drain it. Where there is too little, they carry it. With permits they regulate the discharge of polluted water. They purify the sewage and maintain the flood defences. The management area of the Drents Overijsselse Delta Water Board (referred to as WDODelta) covers the southwestern part of Drenthe and the western part of Overijssel. With a management area of 275.500 hectares, WDODelta is the second largest water board in the Netherlands. With this European public tender, WDODelta wishes to select several parties that will efficiently and effectively take care of the control of exotic species in accordance with the work processes drawn up by WDODelta. This tender will be conducted via the Digital Procurement Platform Mercell Source-to-Contract.
