Description

The existing building, which was used as a vocational school until 2018, is to be transformed into a three-stage primary school. The 5-floor building includes, in addition to the three main floors, an upgraded roofing floor and a basement floor and has a total gross floor area of 3 980 m². The façade consists of monolithis-based masonry with an outer clinker, which is not protected by monuments.
As a result of the reconstruction, the ceiling structures on the upper floors differ considerably. While the original part of the building has a wooden beam structure, the ceilings in the newly constructed part of the building are trained as ‘Pohlmann decks’ in reinforced concrete construction. Most of the load-bearing internal walls are made of masonry and reinforced concrete.
The existing stairwell will be converted into 2 new stairwells, including a new façade.
