Description

Project management competition on “sketch +” for the construction of the new Beauvaisis theatre.
An emblematic project of the Beauvaisis conurbation community, this new cultural equipment is designed to create an architectural event commensurate with the status of National Scene and to strengthen, around a structuring project, the dynamics of the region’s cultural and economic development.
Based on the positioning of theatre activities related to the Label, the programme is structured around the following core functions:
a large room with 800 seats, with the desktop and scenic clearance to meet the technical requirements of the various forms of live performance,
a second room (350/400 seats) based on the principle of modularity in order to create a site-room specific report according to the facilities hosted,
a repetition room which will also be able to accommodate viewers,
an animal-arts education room and meetings,
welcome areas for the public and artists (homes, laundry, etc.),
— offices for staff and logistical facilities for technology,
a bar/restaurant area.
The building will have 7 567 m² of SHON.
The estimated value of the works is EUR 20 500 000,00 (net of tax).
