Description

The cooperation organisation De Wolden/Hoogeveen (SWO), working in mandate for the municipalities of De Wolden and Hoogeveen, is preparing a European public tender in the field of road maintenance and related services. The innovative procurement methodology Rapid Impact Contracting (RIC) is used for this tender. With the use of the RIC methodology, SWO aims for a sustainable collaboration with a partner that contributes to the ambitions of both municipalities and to broader societal challenges. This call for tenders will be awarded on the basis of a Programme of Ambitions and the Vision, Approach and Skills formulated by the tenderers. The selected partner concludes a so-called RIC Commitment Contract with both municipalities. Subsequently, during the RIC Workout, the most suitable solution will be developed in co-creation with the municipalities. All agreements about the solution, preparation, implementation and cooperation are guaranteed in a Mutual Agreements Paper (MAP) during the RIC Touchdown. Once this document has been signed, performance of the contract will start. Interested market participants are cordially invited to participate in a market information day on Thursday 17 July 2025 from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. This meeting takes place in the council room of the municipal office in Zuidwolde, municipality of De Wolden (Raadhuisstraat 2, Zuidwolde).
