Services for the preparation of studies and technical reports within the project "Galati County, a just transition to a sustainable future"
Note: Not all information for this procedure were successfully computed. Please consult linked documents for more details.
The project ‘Galati County, a Just Transition to a Sustainable Future’ aims to strengthen the administrative and operational capacity of the County Group for the Transition to Climate Neutrality, coordinated by the Galați County Council for the efficient and effective implementation of the funds allocated to the administrative territory of Galați County under the Just Transition Programme 2021-2027. Thus, the project contributes to the achievement of the JTP objective: JSO8.1 - JTF - JSO8.1_A enables regions and citizens to cope with the social, employment, economic and environmental impacts of the transition towards the Union's 2030 targets for energy and climate and a climate-neutral economy of the Union by 2050 under the Paris Agreement. It is directly aimed at strengthening the capacity of potential beneficiaries of support under the Just Transition Programme to prepare, submit and implement projects by creating information, communication, awareness, public consultation and monitoring mechanisms. Galati County Council has the responsibility to ensure that the allocated funds are used properly and that the projects carried out bring tangible benefits to the local community and contribute to achieving the objectives of the Just Transition Programme. Another important aspect of the project is to increase the awareness of beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries on the opportunities offered by the Just Transition Programme and on how to access JTF-type funds. Better information and awareness among the local community and those wishing to access JTF funds are essential to maximise their impact on sustainable development at territorial level and to ensure that they are used efficiently and in line with the objectives set. Therefore, the implementation of the project "Galati County, a Just Transition to a Sustainable Future" envisages not only strengthening the administrative and operational capacity of the Technical Secretariat of the County Group, but also supporting and encouraging the sustainable development of the local community through the Just Transition Programme. Financing Contract No 2/182/PTJ_P7/AT_CJ/19.12.2024 was signed between the Ministry of Investments and European Projects, as the Managing Authority for the Just Transition Programme, and the Galați County Territorial Administrative Unit, as the Beneficiary. The implementation period of the project is 36 months from the date of signing the financing contract, i.e. 31.12.2027. Galați County Council intends to procure services for the preparation of studies and technical reports that will provide a detailed and applied picture of how the transition process to climate neutrality was carried out in Galați County. Economic operators may request clarifications within a period not exceeding 20 days until the deadline set for the submission of tenders. - The contracting authority will reply once to all requests for clarifications 11 days before the deadline set for the submission of tenders.
